USPA Safety Day! - Saturday Evening, March 13th
We'll begin safety day at 7:00pm at the DZ.
It that time of year again!  "Safety Day" The day all meet at the DZ to get up-to-date information for the leaders at our drop zone so we can all get the gear started off on the right foot, "Thinking Safety!"
Topics will include: Gear check and review, skydiving emergency review and drills, canopy flight and landing patterns, aircraft procedures and emergencies.
Got questions?  Never jumped before and thinking about it?  New to the sport?  Been around the sport for a while?  Safety day is for you.
After Safety Day activities conclude hang around the DZ and socialize.  It will be a great opportunity to 'catch up' with your friends and see all the new faces we have at the DZ.
     SEE YOU THERE!...

Your Prayers

We need your prayers for my oldest brother Art. He lives in Louisville and disappeared on January 27, 2004. His car was found on Clark Memorial Bridge, so we're hoping he did not make a skydive without his parachute! Art made 300 jumps at GCSPC Bardstown back in the late 60's and early 70's, some even at Xenio, Ohio. In May 1970, he tried to jump into the Kentucky Derby but landed outside the track. He always had an adventurous spirit and is the one who got me into skydiving. We would sure appreciate your prayers for now. If or when we find out anything, I'll keep you posted. Thanks.  - Renee O'Neal

Let's all welcome John McCoin back! (John is Bobby McCoin's youngest of 1 girl and 2 boys).  John is top right in the photo, click on it for a larger view.
John's duties while in Iraq were to guard themselves, train policemen to be self sufficient, PR work, fixing stuff, etc.
John says at after 11 months in Iraq the thing he enjoys most is being clean again!
John flew back to the States via flying to Mosul, Turkey, Germany and direct to Fort Campbell.
Just as soon as John gets settled in and the weather is a bit better his dad is going to bring him up to the DZ and show him how this skydiving stuff is done!.
